FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Brand Explorer?

Brand Explorer is a free AI visibility checker for any company, brand or product. It reads the AI answers Dageno collects every day across 10 AI platforms and 86 countries and regions, finds every entity in them, from companies and products to ads, media and creators, and links them into one graph.

How is Brand Explorer different from prompt tracking?

Prompt tracking only counts the brand names and prompts a team sets up. Brand Explorer starts from every collected answer, so sub-brands, products, nicknames and rivals you never added still show up. Use AI Visibility Tracking alongside it for the prompts you care about most.

Do I need to set up brands, competitors or prompts?

No. Search a company, brand, product or domain and Brand Explorer shows what it finds. There is nothing to configure.

How are visibility, first-mention rate and average position calculated?

Visibility is the share of AI answers that mention the entity: Apple appears in 17,376 of 944,172 answers, or 1.84%. First-mention rate is the share of direct mentions with a valid position where the entity is named first. Average position is the mean position across direct mentions; lower is better.

What is the difference between direct and sub-entity mentions?

A direct mention names the entity itself. A sub-entity mention names one of its brands or products instead. Apple has 9,036 direct mentions and 8,340 through products such as iPhone and iCloud, and Brand Explorer counts them separately.

Does Brand Explorer read a model's internal knowledge graph?

No. It is built from the answers AI platforms actually return, not from any model's internal data.

Is Brand Explorer free?

Yes. Brand Explorer is free forever. You only need to sign up.
